Biographical Info

Sheila O'Donoghue, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, is a dedicated full-time faculty member at ¶à¶àÊÓƵ, specializing as a Nurse Practitioner in General Cardiology with a focus on Adult Congenital Heart Disease. With extensive expertise spanning over a decade in nursing, primarily within cardiology, she collaborates closely with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care to patients. Sheila earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Hunter College in New York City and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware.

Before assuming her current role, Sheila served as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at NYP for more than seven years, gaining invaluable experience in critical care. She holds certifications in Critical Care and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. At ¶à¶àÊÓƵ, she specializes in managing patients with coronary artery disease, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, aortic aneurysms, and those who have undergone heart surgery and interventional procedures.
